Does anyone need a bed?

Oh my word.  In case you are furniture shopping, PB Teen (of all places!) has a ton of those amazing "look for less" pieces.  Check this out.

This amazing bed from Anthropologie rings in at $1,698 for a Queen.  Yikes.  Compared to other bed prices, it's not totally out there, but is definitely a huge investment if it's not an I'll-keep-it-forever-and-ever piece of furniture.

So.  Enter this bed from PB Teen.

This one is about half the price at $899!  Who would have thought?  Nice work PB Teen : )

Our bed arrived!

We were given a beautiful bed for our wedding, but it took a long time to arrive.  So, we were so excited when it came on Thursday!

Doesn't it look so happy?  We love it!  Also, after sleeping with our mattress on the floor for the last 3 months, it still feels crazy to be sleeping so far off the ground.  Ha!

I grabbed a chair from our office upstairs (that we really aren't using these days because it is SO COLD) and gave it a little update with part of a 50 cent can of test paint from Home Depot.  It had primer mixed in, so it took barely any paint to cover this chair.  Our bentwood rocker that we had in this corner got moved to the living room because the bed takes up most of our room now!

It's kind of crazy to look back at where we started only 3 months ago.  We went from our room looking like this:
